Also, if beeswax gets into your pot, your pot is ruined. When you mix the beeswax with the heated oil you need to costantly stir it. When i mix ingredients like this together, i use what is called a double boiler. Which means you take a small pot, fill it up about a quarter of the way with water, put the measured butters and oils into a glass measuring cup with a handle, bring water to a boil, stir until ingredients melt, apply your scent of choice essential oils if you choose, poor into the containers, and allow to cool.

They cool faster either in the fridge or freezer. When they are solid then they are ready to use.
