It's described in the game's manual. Aowk View Profile View Posts. What manual? I dont see it under tutorials and I would like to play some dice, this one monk has an item he will give me if I win. Applesauce View Profile View Posts.

Not sure if this is the monk you're talking about, but if you're in Flotsam and in the basement where there's wrestling going on, and the monk you're talking about is in the corner - he does not give you any item. Apparently when the game was released on GoG, he was used as an in game advertisement who would give you discounts on other GoG games if you beat him or something. Due to its inherent reliance on sheer luck, it is not a good way of making money. The game is essentially unchanged from The Witcher , except that you now must physically "roll" the dice and you have the possibility of losing one or more of them if they roll off the playing surface.

The game now also takes one round only so there is more room for luck and less for tactics. Compared to the first game, the camera angle at which the board is shown and the results of the rolled dice are more difficult to parse, making it more difficult to get a general overview of the situation. Another less than desirable change, the quick view of the current dice combinations for each player after the initial roll has been taken away resulting in a less accessible mini-game.

For example, a pair of aces and fours beats a pair of kings and queens. If two or more players have the same two pair then the fifth card kicker determines the winner. Aces can be high or low so the lowest straight is ace through five while the highest is ten through ace. At 3 to a flush, though, there are only 45 combinations of cards that will make your flush. Overall it is about twice as hard to make a flush compared to a straight. Actually on open ended straight filling up on the last card is harder than a flush but that is just a fraction of the straight draws.

It's pretty much poker I think. You are trying to get the best "hand" with the dice you roll. Really just try to get the most of a single number as you can and you will do well in the long run. User Info: achnod. I will try to explain but bear with me, my English is not that great and it might be hard for me to explain it properly. It's basically poker without flushes since dices have no colors.

In the center of each dice there are number from 1 to 6. You have to put an initial bet that your opponent will either match or raise. You then roll five dices and so will your opponent. You will then have the option to select which dices you want to re-roll in order to make your hand better. You basically need to make the best possible hands with the 5 dices. Now of course, if you have five 1s and your opponents has five 3s he will win.

If you have four 2 and a 5 your fifth dice still count and your opponent has four 2's and a6, he will win since his last dice is better than yours.
