Other benefits to the club days are that riders are covered by MASA insurance, if the rider is injured. The track is fully flag marshalled and the St John Ambulance is always on hand should the unfortunate happen.

Another great benefit to the day is that once a race is finished there is the opportunity to watch some of the best riders in the state race. The club has pro-open, pro-lites and mini bike riders competing in various classes through the day. These riders also compete at state level and there are a few that have competed at national level. The club also has the ever popular vintage bike, most of the riders are also vintage and pee-wee classes, also more recently the female fast fifties.

The Whyalla Motorcycle Club is holding its next race meeting on Sunday, September 9 and invites all riders interested to attend.

The track is located on the Lincoln Highway, about 10 kilometres out of the city, spectator entry is free, a full canteen and bar is available as well as full amenities. Club meetings are held at the Keith Street Clubrooms fortnightly, the next one being Wednesday, September 5.
